I'm William Midkiff, that guy up there! I should probably go grab another cup of this stuff...
I'm a graphic designer, board game designer, and aspiring novelist based in Baton Rouge, LA. I love the process of creating because it feels like piecing together a puzzle. An initial idea is so energetic and exciting, but for me, the real fun comes from the hundreds of little eureka moments that shape an idea into a masterpiece. Whether it's discovering that perfect typeface, balancing a new game mechanic, or remembering that synonym I needed... those little moments are why I make stuff.
Right now, my biggest personal projects are: Eond, my award-winning sci-fi strategy board game, Quizzly Bears, my trivia group that I am designing a brand identity for, and Planetoid, the sci-fi novel I am outlining. You should ask me about any of them; I love sharing ideas!
